Jessica Barber Brown

Jessica is thrilled to find her "grownup" calling after a career that has spanned from helping people and churches find the resources to help them grow, to figuring out how to teach Pre-Calculus. Clearly communicating God's word is her passion, whether it is with the tiniest babies in the nursery or the senior saints at their bedsides–and every stage in between. She is driven by the belief that the Word is the story that everyone will respond to, and telling that story with excellence is a reflection of our excellent God.

Jessica has been the primary homeschooling parent, teacher, and advocate for her autistic son, and also tutors area students in any subject except physics or calculus. She holds a BA from Union University (TN) in Christian Studies (biblical languages minor), and an MA in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary. In addition to preparing her son for the "real world," she has served as a ministry volunteer at churches across Kentucky, and in the Christian retail space as a resource for individuals and churches to locate solutions that work for their particular needs.

When she has free time, Jessica avoids household chores and instead looks for well-told stories in media, whether a book or a movie, and pouring into the lives of her friends.
